Spend your Easter in these Unique Egg-shaped Airbnb's

Posted by on

Where are you adventuring this Easter long weekend? Well, to give you a different type of Easter hunt this year, we’ve listed some of the coolest Airbnb’s around that you’ll want to hop into and add to your bucket list this upcoming holiday weekend! So what will your Easter bucket list look like and what memories are you going to create?

1. Live in a dome on an upstate New York Farm

If you like to cook, hike, swim, visit farmers markets and be surrounded by animals, this egg-shaped dome is the place for you. Woodridge is a rural community located in the southern Catskill Mountains, New York, where you can go chase rabbits all day in the woods. There is a full-service recording studio on the premises as well as a fibre arts workshop space, and donation-based yoga-class every Sunday.  It is the place to get away from it all and get lost in the art of nature!

2. See the best talents at Blues-fest

Byron Bay is an icon on the world map and on Easter it attracts thousands of people to the little town for the famous Byron Bay Blues Fest. With a sick line-up of Jack Johnson, Iggy Pop, Paul Kelly, Norah Jones, Hozier and so many more killer acts, you can kick back and enjoy 12 hours of music each day across five stages, sample some incredible food and browse all the cool market stalls that the Byron bay locals have to offer. We found this uniquely designed and brightly decorated dome shaped Airbnb nestled amongst lush rainforest only 45 minutes away. With a river that runs directly across from the driveway and accessible swimming holes and cafes close by, it’s the perfect place to retreat back to when all the festivities are over. Designated Driver needed!

3. Stay in an ecological egg

For the perfect Easter getaway we just couldn’t look past this Egg-shaped ecologically built house in Belgium. The house is vintage decorated, has two terraces, and comes with free use of a tandem bike!. Located only 10min bike-ride from the city centre of the fun, hip city centre on Antwerpen, this would be an Easter to remember!

4. Northern Lights from your own Glass Dome Igloo

In these luxuriously equipped Northern Lights House buildings, you are offered absolute luxury next to the wilderness and view of the rugged Finland landscapes. Featuring its own sauna, private terrace and hot tub, you can fall asleep under the northern lights and starry sky and enjoy the astonishing fell landscape immediately after waking up. A dream egg we’d say!

5. Experience how they celebrate Easter in Rome

If you’ve ever needed an excuse to go to Rome - The Easter Sunday mass in St Peter’s Square and the urbi et orbi blessing from the Pope, who also leads a Stations of the Cross near the Colosseum on Good Friday will be a incredible experience. And if you are not into the religion, the weather is warm, historic churches look their decorated best, parks burst with flowers and the Spanish Steps are decorated with blooms. The museums are pleasantly uncrowded and roast lamb is on menus! And what better place to stay than in this flowering private terrace  under a Roman sky, high above the ancient rooftops, with spectacular rustic views of the famous Campo dei Fiori market?
