It’s still winter in Sydney. Hanna called me on Friday morning, she was packing for her trip to Barcelona (which is one of my favourite cities in the world). When I was reminiscing and telling her all the places she must not miss it felt like I was there again – walking down the LaRambla, looking at Gaudi’s work, and drinking sangria. I couldn’t help but smile  for I knew how amazing her trip was going to be. But yes, I was green with envy. How much I would love to be there right now, swapping my overcoat for a summer dress, and the heater for a swim in the Mediterranean Sea…  After covering the most important –  ‘Barcelona’, our conversation moved onto business and the next steps we have to do for the book. By the end of this week we must design another four chapters. However, in order to do that we both laughed saying we need inspiration.

So what is inspiration? The dictionary details that it is ‘the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, esp. to do something creative’. And where do you find it – ‘inspiration’? Unfortunately, we can’t buy it in a designers store or download it on an application. It’s one of those intangible feelings you have to discover and find yourself. Sometimes we may find it hard to find. Although my perspective is that it can be found everywhere and anywhere.  It doesn’t matter where you are in the world, I think it’s just how you view whatever is in front of you. If we looked at the world as if we were just born and saw it for the first time we are bound to see something new and from a different perspective. Beauty is all around. x You never know what you can see or discover when you…
