Today we helped our gorgeous friend Sanna with a photoshoot for her fab dress labeled ‘House of Lyx’.
We found this backstreet with fabulous features in Surry Hills – Love it!
I’m going home to check the pics now but here are some quick snapshots.
Check out House of Lyx for the perfect cocktail dresses! /Axel
And that’s what we did! With blue skies, rolling green hills & wild old school friends – we were off to an adventure to Hunter Valley – the famous wine region of NSW.
There was eleven of us that drove 2 & half hours outside of Sydney for a weekend of fun, sun and wine tasting delight whilst indulging in the luxury of the Crown Plaza Hunter Valley! It was a whisk away from the buzzing city-life in Sydney. Saturday was jam-packed visiting wineries that provided the upmost amazing wines, followed by a fabulous dinner at Red Salt bringing back old memories. Complete nostalgia! I love buying wines at the actual wineries, you just can’t get a lot in the shops, so I definitely have stocked up for the cold winter months to come!
Hunter Valley is a must visit if your in Sydney. The perfect mini road trip with friends or romantic getaway with that hot date of yours!
This morning we’re working away at ‘Bills’ – celebrity chef Bill Granger’s top spot in Surry Hills where the creatives the inner east meet away over coffee.
We just finished an exciting meeting with the incredibly gorgeous talented editor Leigh-Ann Pow from Australian Traveller magazine. Leigh-Ann spontaneously contacted us and asked if would be ok for her to feature WANDERLUST in the mag.
With Australian Traveller listed as Australia’s most popular travel magazine, our answer was a big, fat YES! And meeting her was incredible. We had such a great time exchanging stories from travel, entrepreneur ship & book design (she just released a book ‘Fashionably Worn’ that we can’t wait to get our paws on) to her time as a deputy editor for VOUGE! All our passions in 90 minutes! This woman has some fun stories and when she left we realised that we’d like to interview her! We could have listened to her incredible adventures for hours!
When in Sydney this buzzing, innovative, sustainable coffee outfit is a must visit. Built into the remnants of a heritage-listed warehouse at the back of Sydney’s West, the pristine Grounds of Alexandria cafe/roastery/market/bakery/
I’ve been wanting to go here for ages and finally I got a long sunday session with the girls here, enjoying all the magic tastings and visuals whilst catching up on all the gossip and fun. And its love at first sight! A absolutely adore the mix of boho-chic and modern upmarket style in this big inspiring rustic oasis.
Since opening the doors two years ago ‘The Grounds’ has become a local hotspot for food lovers and coffee connoisseur’s. The menu is packed of goodies from the on site coffee roastery, organic garden and in house bakery of both rustic breads & mouthwatering sweet pastries. But as if that’s not enough there is also a fresh fruit lemonade stand and an organic juice/smoothie bar – you surely won’t be disappointed! The place is buzzing with hipsters, cafe lovers with their dogs, young groovy couples and their spunky kids and everyone else in town soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying all goodness it has to offer.
A week ago I got asked to come over to do some urgent TV work for a month in Sydney again. I was super exited as it meant a month of time to work with Ash in the evenings. We are working on our second book to be released this Autumn so every minute together is great! And I love my TV – job in Sydney too which makes it all double fun.
So – as it all came very sudden I decided to surprise Ash as she had no clue at all, but keeps on telling me EVERY SINGLE day that I should come back to Sydney! We are a group of really close-knit friends so I got my friend Maria to organise an after work night for them all, which happens frequently anyways. They decided to meet up at Dove & Olive in Surry Hills for Trivia – as it’s something we all did together every Wednesday when I lived in Sydney a few years ago.
I couldnt write anything about until now and it’s been so hard to keep quiet from Ash as we speak, text and email each other like a million times a day! She was over the moon with excitement and will come stay with me in my beautiful home for the month!
The postman just came with this big beautifully wrapped surprise package from Ash In Sydney!
We hope your day is as bright as Norms balloons! This adorable pug makes us smile everytime he pops up! Follow Norms wild adventures and amazing pics @jermzlee

Lest we Forget. ANZAC Day dawn service in North Bondi. It’s the day we remember those that fought and died for us in battle so we could live the free life we do today. Those beautiful heroes protected us to ensure we would be able to wake up with a smile everyday.
I had the honour of marching with my Grandfather in the Sydney ANZAC day march, a day I will never forget. His not here anymore, but there’s not a day that will go by that I won’t miss him. Ash X
