SURRY HILLS – ROOFTOP MARKETS
Figs, cider, candles, books, cupcakes, music and the sunshine.
69 Reservoir St, Surry Hills hosted a pop-up rooftop market today. The afternoon was perfect. We had an amazing view over the city, the sun was shining, people were dancing and there were cute things to buy – magical afternoon. I have now just added that a rooftop is a must for our future office !
After the markets I then went to check out the pop-up stalls at Taste of Sydney. Over the last three days Centennial Park has hosted various wine & food stalls from the most incredible places around Australia.
By the time I arrived at Centennial Park there was only an hour left to check it all out. However, with my favourite energetic friend Maria in hand I knew that was no problem at all. As we strolled through the grassy path passing all the tents there were samples everywhere ! Red wine, white wine, almost every single flavour of cider, whisky (so gross!), cheese (yum), falafel (to die for ! – absolutely amazing), Porteno, Longrain, a photobooth, Three Blue Ducks, a bicycle, a scooter ride.. and some ping pong. Maria even got to see Maria Island – (we were back in Tasmania !). Also, met the lovely Elise Bucholtz from TimeOut where they are hosting the Tanqueray Garden Bar an awesome tent set up ! Tomorrow is the last day, check it out for St Patricks Day, they have lots of celebrations there.
Lots of fun, enjoying life x
